I will require a deposit of $100 up front before any drawings will be done. This deposit will be non refundable. This deposit is for my time to consult with you as well as all sketches and drawings I will be doing for your project. All drawings and sketches remain the property of Kristina King after the project is completed. A photograph of the completed mural may be taken for advertising for King's Kustom Murals and the owner, Kristina King. Your signed contract will be your agreement to this. All reference to your home address will be blurred if in the image to protect your privacy. If this is a commercial project, your company name can be used with your permission for advertising purposes.

If the project is to be done, the deposit will go towards the final price of your mural. - Mural pricing varies on size, detail and type of painting you want. A basic guideline is listed below for your reference:

simple cartoon mural $50/hour example:

*simple cartoon is in reference to little details and little to no shading of the characters. This is also referencing outlines of cartoon characters only, no color. The example image covers about 6feet of the wall. This would cost about $250. This is a large character.

detail cartoon mural $60/hour example:

*detail cartoon is in reference to a character who intails a lot of detail in the drawing and painting to acheive a more realistic feel. This includes shading. The above example would cost about $280 (fairly small)

*simple lanscape is in reference to little to no detail/shading of a lanscape mural.

I can draw a custom portrait from a photo you provide to me in charcoal or pencil within 4 business days! The photo will be returned with your artwork. Great for gifts or treasured keepsakes! I will do framing as well for additional fee.

The pricing sheet above is a guidline only for the murals and drawings. There may be additional charges for material, prep and finish if necessary.

all projects have a minimum requirement of 3 hours
I work as fast and as precise as I can. I will not take longer then what is necessary. Most projects take on average 5-6 hours, of course depending on the colors/details/size/wall conditions etc. We will meet twice before painting is to begin. The first meeting we will discuss the following topics: (the first meeting is free and will last about a half hour)

..What is the purpose of the mural?
..Who is the mural for?
..Who is accountable for the project?
..How many decision markers will there be?
..What is the space of the project?
..How is the condition of the wall/furniture I will be painting on?
..What materials are acceptable/preferred?
..What is your budget/what can you not exceed?

I will sketch out some basic raw ideas for you at our first meeting to give you an idea. I may take pictures of the wall at this time as well. The deposit will be due at this time.

After our first meeting, I will give you up to 2 weeks to think things over, gather ideas from others, shop around for pricing etc. We will setup another meeting to go over my conception drawings and finalize the project, as well as sign contracts. (This meeting will take about an hour)

We will setup days/times painting can be done within the next 3 weeks from this time.

*NOTE: Paying up front is not available for all projects as the price depends on the amount of time a project will take. I will work with you however and if you pay for 3 hours up front I can give you a discount of 5%. The remaining balance will be paid upon completion.
