Kristina King is a self-taught artist. Born in 1982 in Garden City Michigan, Kristina took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Kristina developed an appreciation for her surroundings and drew anything she could see. Her first drawing was of her doll. Years of artistic and many creative expressions made it clear to all who knew her that Kristina's life would be centered upon her passion for arts and creative outlets. During high school, Kristina's favorite class was always art and her teacher senior year at Thousand Oaks High School, Mr. Sawitz left a deep impression on Kristina and her passion for the arts. After high school the only classes Kristina took and liked in college were art. Due to the struggle of living on her own, Kristina did not graduate but she did continue to paint and draw in her spare time. Her passion was limited to handmade holiday gifts for friends and loved ones for years until she recently started a mural on her first nieces bedroom wall where she fell in love with painting murals. "I love seeing the faces of those I paint for and the eyes of the little ones who now have a magical place to play". Kristina specializes in children and baby rooms, however also loves painting just about anything! "If I can see it, I can draw/paint it!"
